Carboset® CA7160RC by Lubrizol is a formaldehyde- & APEO-free styrene acrylic copolymer emulsion. Offers good elasticity & tensile strength, excellent adhesion, and good resistance to water & alkali. Provides very high binding power for fillers & pigments and excellent wet rub resistance. Carboset® CA7160RC is designed for highly filled interior architectural coatings, alkaline surfaces such us concrete and fiber cement. Also it can be used in primers and top coat formulations. Suitable for facade coatings, interior & exterior paints and elastic coating formulations. The shelf life of the grade is 1 year.
