Terlon™ 5A

Linseed-based alkyd polyester. Has very good pigment wetting ability and fast hard-drying properties. The unique polyols used to build its structure allow it to carry and print a larger load of pigments than bodied oils as well as conventional alkyds. Grinding or flushing in Terlon 5A can develop more color strength and cleanliness than conventional wetting vehicles, while maintaining very good flow characteristics. It is an outstanding pigment binder on most printable surfaces. Offers improved rub resistance and transfer. Used in sheetfed offset, coldset offset, heatset offset, letterpress, metal decorating and silk screen.
