Flex-Rez™ 1084AS by Lawter is an alcohol soluble polyamide resin. Possesses exceptionally high melting point (185°C) and high heat resistance. Provides hardness to the film that makes it useful as a modifier for improving grease, scratch and rub resistance. Offers great potential in the formulation of unique, high performance inks for a variety of synthetic polymer substrates. Flex-Rez™ 1084AS provides grease and gel resistance. Used in flexographic inks, coatings and overprint varnishes.
