KURARAY POVAL™ 4-98 LA by Kuraray is a water soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. Exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion, low ash (sodium acetate) content, good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. KURARAY POVAL™ 4-98 LA is recommended for top coating for thermal paper, flexible and pigmented coatings.
