KURARAY LIR-50

KURARAY LIR-50 by Kuraray is a reactive plasticizer. It is a liquid rubber based on isoprene homopolymer. It is co-vulcanizable with solid rubber such as NR, SBR, BR, IR and IIR. It reduces migration significantly which improves the product’s shelf life. During the rubber compounding phase, it significantly reduces processing time while maintaining the rubber compound's physical properties. It results in a product with lower processing costs. It is colorless, transparent and odorless without halogen residuals. This product improves tack and adhesive properties in a wide range of temperatures. KURARAY LIR-50 is suitable for high performance coatings.
