Jonrez® SM 705 by Ingevity is phenolic rosin resin. It has high acid number and high softening point. Salts of the resin can provide excellent results in pigment striking and water-based coatings. Jonrez® SM 705 is useful in specialty yellow pigment striking and as an additive for flexographic and solvent-based packaging systems.
