HYPOX® RA 16213 by Huntsman is adduct of a liquid diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) and CTB (carboxyl terminated butadiene) and CTBN (carboxyl terminated butadieneacrylonitrile). Is unique by its presence of the low Tg, CTB reactive liquid polymer. Inclusion of CTB results in enhanced toughening characteristic, particularly at low temperatures. Used as coatings.
