Hydrocarbon resin. It is a low molecular weight, light color thermoplastic resin produced from aromatic petroleum-derived monomers. It is characterized by light color, high level compatibility and excellent resistant to acid, alkalis and moisture. Also offers good chemical stability, high heat and water resistance and, excellent tack and peel properties. Shows perfect compatibility with long oil alkyd resin, mineral oils and vegetable oils. Found to be soluble and applicable in major solvents in industrial paints and printing inks.
