EPOSIL™ Resin 5550

EPOSIL™ Resin 5550 by Westlake Epoxy is a siloxane modified hybrid epoxy resin for protective topcoats. It can be cross-linked by amine and amino silane curing agents. It provides excellent chemical resistance, low viscosity, outstanding gloss, long pot life and low yellowing properties. It can be used to develop isocyanate-free, high-performance topcoats with reduced cost of ownership through improved durability and fewer number of coating layers. EPOSIL™ Resin 5550 is recommended for industrial and concrete flooring topcoats, graffiti-resistance & dry-erase coatings and transportation-, marine-, machinery- and equipment coatings. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
