EPON™ Resin 161 by Westlake Epoxy is a multifunctional epoxidized phenolic novolac resin. It combines relatively low viscosity with good thermal stability, good thermal resistance, and superior chemical resistance properties. It can be used as the sole resin component or in combination with standard resins and HELOXY™ Modifiers normally used in epoxy formulations. It is capable of curing with all classes of curing agents. EPON™ Resin 161 is used in chemically resistant coatings. The shelf life of this product is 5 years.
