DOMALKYD 8372 70 BAc by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is an alkyd resin modified with linseed oil, tung oil and phenolic resins. It is supplied as 69-71% in butylacetate. It is partially soluble in lower alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons. It offers excellent drying and mechanical properties. DOMALKYD 8372 70 BAc imparts good corrosion resistance. It is suitable for universal binder for primer coatings. It is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones. It is compatible with medium & short oil alkyd resins, nitrocellulose, amino resins and ureic resins. It is stable for 12 months if stored in a dry place at temperature below 25°C.
