DOMALKYD 5421 75 BAc by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is an alkyd resin modified with coconut fatty acids. It is supplied as 74-76% in butylacetate. It is soluble in aromatic & aliphatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and higher alcohols. DOMALKYD 5421 75 BAc is compatible with short & medium oil non-drying alkyd resins, nitrocellulose, colophonium modified maleic resins, melamine and isocyanate resins. It is suitable for high-solid content coatings, lacquers & enamels for wood, high quality furniture lacquers and stoving enamels for metals. It is insoluble in lower alcohols. It is stable for 24 months if stored in a dry place at temperature below 25°C.
