DOMALKYD 1272 60 X by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is an alkyd resin modified with soyabean fatty acids. It is supplied as 59-61% in xylene. It is compatible with short & medium oil alkyd resins, nitrocellulose, vinyl melamine and urea resins. DOMALKYD 1272 60 X offers rapid drying, high gloss and good yellowing stability. It is suitable for industrial primers and high-build finishes for metals. It is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and glycol ethers. It remains stable for 12 months if stored in its original packs in a dry place at a temperature between 5-25°C. It shows limited solubility in alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
