DOMACRYL 522 60 X/SA/BAc

DOMACRYL 522 60 X/SA/BAc by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a highly reactive hydroxy acrylic resin. It is supplied as 59-61% in xylene/ solvesso 100/ butylacetate. It is suitable for solventborne automotive refinishing (top coats and clear coats). It is specially designed for cross-linking with isocyanate resins for the formulation of non-yellowing finishing. It offers excellent mechanical properties, gloss retention and outdoor stability. DOMACRYL 522 60 X/SA/BAc is soluble in xylene, toluene, acetone, ethyl acetate, n-butyl acetate, methoxypropyl acetate and methyl isobutyl ketone. It is partially soluble solvesso 100 and solvesso 150. It is compatible with HDI isocyanurate, HDI-biuret, Desmodur L 75, vinyl VAGH, ester soluble nitrocellulose, CAB 551-0.2, Domalkyd (5201 & 5571), Domopol 6067 and Domacryl hydroxyl resins. Physical dying can be accelerated by the addition of cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) resins.
