Bakelite® BKS-2640 by Bakelite Synthetics is a phenolic resin solution in butanol. It can be formulated with minimal blending. It is used in plastisol primers and adhesion promoters for solution vinyl resins. Applications include protective coatings in drum, pail and other metal protection. It complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.300 and 177.1210.
