RANBAR® 4983-BA-70 by Huntsman is a HAPS-free, high solids, epoxy ester resin. It gives rapid set to the touch and tack-free time. It offers very good adhesion to metal surfaces, corrosion- and chemical resistance. It provides fair exterior durability, outstanding film properties when crosslinked with amino resins and an excellent combination of film hardness & flexibility. RANBAR® 4983-BA-70 is used in primers and coatings for metal surfaces, floor, metal deco & aerosol finishes and electrically insulating, OEM and coil coatings.
