RANBAR® 4778-X-50

RANBAR® 4778-X-50 by Huntsman is a short oil, phenolic and rosin modified alkyd resin supplied at 50% non-volatile by weight. Provides fast air dry, good adhesion to most surfaces, abrasion resistance, fair exterior durability, enhanced solvent- and water resistance. It is a rapid-setting resin for use in lift-resistant primers and fast-drying industrial enamels. RANBAR® 4778-X-50 finds applications in metal & wood primers, automotive & industrial primers, aerosol finishes, aluminum paints, machine enamels, flooring & marine finishes, lawnmowers and toy enamels. It can be used in the following government specification finishes such as TT-P-64C, TTE-515A and MIL-E-15090C, Type II.
