4731-BA-80 by Huntsman is a saturated polyester resin. It is an oil-free non-oxidizing alkyd resin. When properly formulated it can give very high-quality industrial finishes. Offers an excellent combination of flexibility as well as hardness, adhesion to many substrates and good to excellent solvent as well as stain resistance. Also offers low color development during high-temperature bake cycles, low yellowing tendency and good exterior durability. 4731-BA-80 is used for coil coatings, metal deco coatings, appliance finishes, OEM coatings and furniture finishes.
