High softening point, pentaerythritol ester of rosin. Used in coatings. Possesses good polymer compatibility (EVA, EEA, SIS, SBS, SBR, rubber, neoprene, acrylic, LMW polyethylene, amorphous polypropylene) and compatibility with phthalate and polyester plasticizers, alkyds, hydrocarbon resins and terpene resins. Provides shear strength and very good heat and aging stability.
