TEGO® AddBond LP 1611

TEGO® AddBond LP 1611 by Evonik is a solvent-free, 100% active matter of a special adhesion polyester resin. Offers improved gloss, excellent viscosity reduction/increase in solids content and fixation of aluminum pigments. It shows wide solubility and compatibility. Provides intercoat adhesion to metals like aluminium & steel and plastics like PVC and ABS. Exhibits corrosion protection, hardness and provides high flexibility. It is clear & soluble in butyl glycol, acetone, butyl acetate, xylene & TPGDA but insoluble & cloudy in ethanol, water & mineral spirit. Suitable particularly for high solids formulations. TEGO® AddBond LP 1611 is recommended for can and coil coatings, industrial coatings, 2-pack coatings based on acrylic/isocyanate, polyester/isocyanate and amine/amide-curing epoxies. Ideal dosage ranges between 1.5-7.5%.
