Silikopur® 8081

SILIKOPUR® 8081 by Evonik is a silicone modified polyurethane dispersion grade. It is a hazy liquid emulsion that is dilutable with water. Possesses good air-drying feature, high compatibility and water-reducibility. Provides a water-beading effect. Exhibits extremely high flexibility and good recoatability feature. Suitable for waterborne, clearcoats, and pigmented coatings. Applications include wood & furniture coatings, parquet lacquers, plastic coatings and leather topcoats (produces a slippery handle in leather topcoats). SILIKOPUR® 8081 is listed in EINECS, DSL, PICCS and TSCA. When stored in an original unopened packaging at 4-40°C, it has a shelf life of 12 months.
