Silikoftal® ED by Evonik is a silicone-epoxy resin. It is available in clear to slightly hazy liquid form. It exhibits excellent corrosion- and weathering resistance. It is suitable for ultra-high solids coatings, particularly for 2-pack isocyanate-free curable high solids formulations. It is applicable for topcoats, solvent-borne, pigmented, and clear coats. It is also used in structural steel-, industrial-, anti-corrosion-, anti-graffiti-, concrete walls & floors-, roof tile-, offshore/marine area- and pipelining coatings. Silikoftal® ED is listed in EINECS, NDSL, PICCS, and TSCA inventories.
