Dynasylan® SILBOND® Condensed

Dynasylan® SILBOND® Condensed by Evonik is a tetraethyl orthosilicate. The surfaces of glass, metal, fillers, pigments and synthetic fibers can be coated with silicone dioxide. It improves the mechanical properties, chemical- and thermal stability. It can be used in scratch- and abrasion resistant coatings. It contains ethanol as co-solvent and ammonia, mineral acids, acetic acid and amines as catalyst. It can be used as a raw material for acid- and alkali hydrolysis and sol-gel process. Dynasylan® SILBOND® Condensed is applicable as binder for fillers in inorganic zinc-rich paints. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
