Essential™ R4242

Essential™ R4242 by Essential Polymers is a solid aliphatic polyurethane dispersion for waterborne coatings. It is specifically designed to be block resistant up to 70°C and maintain its flexibility and toughness below 0°C. It offers excellent adhesion to flexible PVC and chemical resistance. It can be cross-linked using water dispersible trimers like Rhodia’s Rhodocoat EZ D 401 or 803 at a dosage level of 5-10%. Essential™ R4242 is used to make clear and top coats for vinyl. It complies with TSCA 8b.
