Silcolease® UV Poly 206

Silcolease® UV Poly 206 by Elkem Silicones is a 100% reactive, low release, UV/EB curable, monocomponent epoxy-functional silicone polymer. It consists of an optimized “low release” pre-blend of UV/EB silicone polymer and UV/EB CRA-minus release modifier and UV/EB photoinitiator. Exhibits no mixing errors, no chemical handling, easy inventory control, process consistency, improved product quality, enhanced right-off-the-coater degree-of-cure, minimized “backside transfer” to the liner and improved “tandem coating” release stability. Rapid cure is achieved by simply passing the coating under high-intensity ultraviolet light (medium pressure mercury vapor bulbs) or under electron beam irradiation. Silcolease® UV Poly 206 is suitable for coating on a wide selection of papers and films and against a wide range of adhesive materials.
