Solkem 3840 by Ecoat is a short oil hydroxyl and water dispersible alkyd resin. It shows fast drying, very good adhesion, excellent corrosion resistance and very good water resistance. It is suitable for use in fast air-dry topcoats and primers. Solkem 3840 can also be blended with amino resin for bake solidify-type coatings. Its shelf life is 12 months. It complies with EC No. 1907/2006 REACH 2.0 regulations.
