Hard, pale, thermoplastic pentaerythritol (PE) ester of rosin. Possesses resistance to thermal degradation, wide solvency, low solution viscosity, very good gloss and pigment wetting properties. Has compatibility with natural and synthetic rubbers, chlorinated rubber, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers with high vinyl acetate content. Used in protective coating vehicles and inks.
