Eastman™ Cellulose Acetate (CA-394-60S) is cellulose acetate. It is produced by the controlled esterification of purified raw cellulose with acetic acid and acetic anhydride. It is a very high melting cellulose ester having limited solubility, compatibility and low odor. It offers high strength, good resistance to ultraviolet light, heat, oils and greases. Eastman™ Cellulose Acetate (CA-394-60S) is available in unfiltered pellet form. Used in lacquers for electric insulators, lacquers for glass, lacquers for paper, lacquers for plastic, lacquers for wire and wood sealers.
