Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin. Imparts adhesion, toughness and flexibility. Provides the highest shear strength and high peel strength at very low temperatures. Offers excellent dielectric properties and exceptionally good creep resistance. It is a white-colored thermoplastic resin. Retains the clarity of the coating and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. Applications in wire enamel overcoats, inks and toners.
