NeoCryl® XK-86 by Covestro is an acrylic-styrene copolymer emulsion. It is designed for high performance coatings for steel protection and general metal applications. It is suitable for formulating primer & topcoat, clear and opaque formulations on metal and plastic. It offers high gloss & gloss retention, corrosion-, humidity- and salt spray resistance. It also provides outdoor durability and wet adhesion to aluminum and galvanized steel. NeoCryl® XK-86 is compatible with other acrylic emulsions, urethane dispersions, alkyds and epoxy esters. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
