ROSILK™ 2229

ROSILK™ 2229 by Dow Chemical is an aqueous, high solids, silicone emulsion. It does not promote fish-eye retraction and has slight defoaming tendency. Promotes the highest wear performance. ROSILK™ 2229 included in the automotive topcoat confers a unique combination of a smooth drag-free feel with the highest extension of wear performance while addition to the undercoats will bolster wear properties without impairing flow-out or inter-coat adhesion. Completely compatible with aqueous systems. It is ideally suited for automotive finishing. Supplied at 57 – 60% total solids. Its typical use level is 1 to 10%.
