RHOPLEX™ MV-23LO Emulsion Copolymer

RHOPLEX™ MV-23LO Emulsion Copolymer by Dow Chemical is an aqueous, all-acrylic binder. It has anionic character, low ammonia, low odor, low VOC and is formaldehyde-free. Its benefits include excellent stain-blocking, corrosion resistance, excellent holdout of topcoats, good zinc oxide stability, nail head rust resistance, good flow and film build, good adhesion to weathered unpainted wood and typical repaint substrates. RHOPLEX™ MV-23LO Emulsion Copolymer by Dow Chemical is a versatile vehicle that can be used in both the formulation of primers that upgrade difficult substrates into sound repaint surfaces, and stain-blocking sealers that minimize the "bleed through" of wood tannins and common household stains.
