Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin. Contains butylated hydroxytoluene. Used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable, hot melt coatings. Provides very good water vapor and gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility, and adhesion. Can be used as an extender and modifier. Gives high-temperature resistance.
