ELVAX™ 4355

ELVAX™ 4355 by DOW is a high molecular weight ethylene-vinyl acetate and acid terpolymer resin, filled with 25%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content and 1wt% methacrylic acid. It contains BHT antioxidant, used as a thermal stabilizer. It offers very good water vapor & gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility, superior oil and grease resistance. It provides seal strength in blends with wax, great hot tack and improved adhesion to polar and nonporous substrates. It can be used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable and hot melt coatings. It suits particularly for high hot-tack systems. ELVAX™ 4355 can be used in industrial and wire coating applications. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
