Intermediate molecular weight ethylene-vinyl acetate/acid terpolymer resin. Contains butylated hydroxytoluene. Used as a resin base for flexible, heat-sealable, hot melt coatings. Provides very good water vapor and gas barrier properties, toughness, flexibility, superior oil and grease resistance, great hot tack and improved adhesion to polar, nonporous substrates. Offers high viscosity. Can be combined with other ethylene-vinyl acetate/acid terpolymer resin to optimize performance at a desired viscosity level.
