DOWSIL™ RSN-0804 Resin

DOWSIL™ RSN-0804 Resin by Dow is a silanol-functional silicone resin in toluene. It exhibits excellent leafing properties & water resistance and very good gloss retention. It is hard, rigid and can give extremely high temperature protection over short periods. Improves heat stability and weatherability of many organic resins. DOWSIL™ RSN-0804 Resin is suitable for aluminum coatings (containing 10 to 30% of the resin and resists 315°C (600°F) over short periods) and silicone-ceramic coatings. It has a shelf life of 21 months.
