Polybutadiene. Ricon® 157, a Type II coagent, acts as a low molecular weight, liquid polybutadiene resin with moderately high vinyl functionality for good reactivity, exceptional hydrophobicity and excellent processing characteristics. It exhibits good crosslink densities without affecting the rate of cure, electrical insulation properties, excellent hydrophobicity, good compression set, hardness, modulus and plasticizing resin.
