NeoCryl® B-818 by Covestro is an alcohol- & alkali soluble, solid acrylic copolymer. It exhibits low odor and good water dissolution at pH >8. It works as a modifying binder for overprint varnishes and surface printing inks. It is especially designed for solvent-based flexo inks on films and paper. It is also used as a pigment dispersant. NeoCryl® B-818 shows good compatibility with NC, CAP, PVB, PU and acrylic & styrene-acrylic copolymer dispersions. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
