Desmophen® 881 X

Hydroxyl-bearing polyester. Is supplied as 75% in xylene. Can be thinned with aromatics hydrocarbons. Soluble in esters, ether esters, and ketones. It is compatible with Desmodur® L 75, 2681 PR, IL, IL 1351, HL and N 75, with other Desmophen® products, with short-oil Alkydal® products, with nitrocellulose and with PVA/PVC copolymers for polyurethanes. Acts as a co-reactant for polyisocyanates in the formulation of air-drying two-pack coatings. Applicable for the formulation of clear & pigmented air-drying, two-pack polyurethane coatings for wood, metal and plastics.
