Ateva® 2842A by Celanese is ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer emulsion. Contains an antioxidant to minimize viscosity changes of the hot melt blends during processing. Ateva® 2842A is used in hot melt coatings. It is recommended that the melt temperature be kept below 210°C as decomposition can occur at higher temperatures.
