Cardolite® NC-547

Cardolite® NC-547 by cardolite is a polyglycidyl ether of an alkenyl phenol formaldehyde novolac resin. It is an epoxy cured resin having lower modulus, a lower glass transition temperature and better flexibility than an unmodified epoxy system. Exhibits excellent chemical and water resistance, have high reactivity, and adds flexibility while maintaining performance. The reactive epoxide groups and the long alkenyl side chains (which impart flexibility in cured phenolic and epoxy resins) make this epoxy novolac a unique product. Cardolite® NC-547 is suitable for use in specialty flexible coatings and as an adhesion promoter for urethanes.
