Acronal® LR 8976-For Europe only

Acronal® LR 8976 by BASF is an anionic low VOC styrene acrylic binder. Has very good water tightness for damp proofing and outstanding tannin as well as nicotine blocking. Is APEO- and ammonia-free. Offers low water uptake and surface tack. Provides good compatibility with conventional potassium silicate. Acronal® LR 8976 is used in low VOC sheen to semi-gloss paints, tannin and nicotine blocking primers, damp proofing of wet rooms (application of several layers of glass fiber and coating recommended in order to obtain completely water-tight seal) as well as emulsion-type silicate paints.
