Acronal® 4 L

Acronal® 4 L by BASF is a light- & aging resistant, soft, tacky, high viscosity acrylic resin. It offers good flexibility, very good adhesion, good saponification resistance and poor cohesion.

It is used for plasticizing cellulose nitrate and chlorine-containing binders for paper & film coatings as well as for lacquering & laminating aluminum foil.
It is also suitable for coating plastics and for paints for a range of substrates such as metals, concrete and fiber-reinforced cement.
It shows compatibility with cellulose nitrate, vinyl chloride polymers, polyvinyl ethers, polyacrylates, natural resins, rosin, plasticizers and castor oil.
Acronal® 4 L can be added to one- and two-component primers to improve adhesion.
