CHEMPOL® 816-1200 by Arkema is a high solid oxirane functional epoxy ester adduct. It offers very good chemical- and corrosion resistance. It provides good pigment-wetting, improves recoatability and toughens films when used as an additive resin. It exhibits good solubility in aromatic solvents and compatibility. CHEMPOL® 816-1200 is used in metal primer and primer for hot-dipped galvanized steel coatings. It is also applicable as a modifier for coil- and thermoset coatings.
