Arez PM1154

Rosin modified phenolic resin. It is an amber-brown, hard and brittle resin with very high solubility in low aromatic content ink oils and even paraffinic oils. Its low solution viscosity with almost Newtonian behavior and good pigment wetting make it an ideal resin for flushing and overprint varnishes. It is higher in viscosity with the same solubility compared to Arez PM1129. Used in aromatic free inks, offset inks (Sheetfed/Heatset) requiring high gloss, flushing applications and overprint varnishes.
