UCECOAT® 2802 by allnex is tin- & BPA-free, acrylated polyurethane dispersion in water designed for water-borne UV/EB curable inkjet inks. It is anionic in nature, making it compatible with water without any external emulsifier. Due to the presence of these ionic groups, it is not stable under highly acidic conditions. This product contains no co-solvent. UCECOAT® 2802 exhibits good properties concerning the jetting and water re-solubility before cure which are key requirements for inkjet application. It provides hardness in the polymerized coating along with good stain and chemical resistance. The cured products are characterized by very good adhesion on multiple substrates, excellent flexibility, outstanding wetting of surfaces and very low yellowing. The shelf life of the grade is 1 year.
