SETAQUA® B E 270

SETAQUA® B E 270 by allnex is a water-thinnable, oil-free, saturated polyester resin. It is used in combination with water-thinkable amino resins for the formulation of industrial stoving coatings and aqueous stoving primer surfacers for online automotive finishing, both with a low co-solvent content.

It provides good hardness, flexibility and adhesion to paint films.
It is combined with polyurethane dispersions to achieve above-average stonechip resistance.
It is also suitable for general industrial finishing, and for dip primers which are subsequently overcoated with powder coatings.
It can be used to formulate highly flexible primers and hard, well-crosslinked, high gloss top coats.
It is compatible with amino resins (CYMEL® 303 LF, 325, 327, 350 & 385), and Bayhydrol U 241, BL 5140 & VP LS 2310.
The shelf life of SETAQUA® B E 270 is 270 days.
