PHENODUR® PR 898/52BGB

PHENODUR® PR 898/52BGB by allnex is a heat curing unplasticized phenolic resin. It is used in heat-curing phenolic-epoxide resin-combinations for interior and exterior coatings of metal packaging containers employed in the food industry. It is suitable for high adhesion, chemical resistant protective coatings for apparatus, vessels and pipelines. Excellent flexibility and retort resistance, low reactivity. The cured film is slightly golden in color. Catalyst CYCAT XK 406 N is necessary. PHENODUR® PR 898/52BGB is also suitable for use in can coatings. It can be stored for 365 days. It is delivered as 52% in butyl glycol/butanol (52BGB).
