EBECRYL® LED 05

EBECRYL® LED 05 by allnex is acrylated polyamine and when combined with an appropriate photoinitiator system, it transforms formulations into UV LED, UVA, or low energy curable systems by providing improved surface cure. In addition, this effect is also seen in high energy cure formulations. The improved surface cure is obtained by mitigating oxygen inhibition of the free radical process and by being an amine synergist for Norrish type II photoinitiators. Coatings and inks based on EBECRYL® LED 05 exhibit a low odor after UV or EB curing. It offers improved ink flow stability and high gloss due to good compatibility with organic pigments. It is recommended as a co-resin (5-20% on formulation) for overprint varnishes, flexographic, gravure, screen and inkjet inks. It is compatible with urethane-, polyester- and epoxy-acrylates. It is also compatible with alkali additives. It should be used within 1 year after production.
