EBECRYL® 8896

EBECRYL® 8896 by allnex is a revolutionary, UV or electron beam (EB) energy curable, aliphatic urethane acrylate. Designed for applications requiring haptic properties such as soft touch or feel. Cured films are tough, flexible, and resistant to yellowing and abrasion. Compatible with variety of fillers, pigments, waxes, and polymeric beads allowing formulator maximum formulating latitude to create haptic properties ranging from a velvety/ silky feel to EBECRYL® 8896’s intrinsic rubbery feel. Recommended for haptic coating on plastics and films, flexible coatings and in-mold decoration. Formulated products may be applied by spray coating, screen, roller and curtain coating methods. The shelf life is 2 years.
